Protection, construction and firing trainers: where are waiting for war veterans at the "citizen" and what work is offered

As a result of the war in Ukraine, a shortage of personnel in the labor market was formed. At the same time, employers continue the careful selection of employees and not everyone is ready to accept with spaced arms. Fighters who have returned from hostilities and people with disabilities are often refused hiring or taken to low -skilled positions. The focus understood whether it is easy for Ukraine defenders to be realized on a "citizen".

The full -scale war with Russia has formed a huge shortage of personnel in the labor market - men are not enough, production does not extract volumes without labor. In the Armed Forces there are employees of medium and large enterprises, and vacancies are occupied by women, according to a study of the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine. The massive outflow of personnel is noticeable in the field of metalworking, processing of agricultural products and furniture industry.

Women who have to occupy these positions due to lack of other options are faced with unnatural physical activity. However, even in such a situation, Ukrainian employers are sorting people and are in no hurry to hire demobilized military, veterans and people with disabilities. Businessmen are afraid to face a difficult psycho -emotional state (79%), alcohol or drug addiction (25%) and conflict (24%) of such workers.

It is difficult for veterans and military to put up with social status in society after returning from the war zone. If in the war a person commanded a unit and in a peaceful life they are offered to be subordinates, often there is a dissonance. An important and monetary question: getting 100 thousand hryvnias of combat, difficult to rebuild for a maximum of 20 thousand a month on a "citizen".

Employers are reluctant to take persons with disabilities: 61% of employers perceive them as "disabled" and "people with difficulties in communication", not believing in their ability to work at a decent level. "The output may be the development of individual employment of veterans and persons with disabilities. Almost 64% of veterans surveyed said they want to have their own business. This is three times more than in the peaceful 2018," the Confederation said.

In a peaceful life, two roads are waiting for the military: work is closer to the military profile, or switching to civilian specialties. The first option is related to the transfer of combat experience: you can get into educational institutions and teach pre -war training, says the focus of the temporary special commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on legal status, social support, medical support for war veterans and servicemen, non -factional people's deputy.

Instructor's vacancies are considered as a work. But in the universities will soon appear staffing units of teachers who will teach students a basic set of military knowledge: how to use a harness, to provide first aid, added the People's Deputy. It is possible to teach peaceful Ukrainians pre -war training not only at institutes and universities, but also in municipal organizations.

In Ivano-Frankivsk there is a municipal enterprise "House of a Warrior" and some of the demobilized guys were encouraged to work there. They are also interested in "assistants of other military", Savchuk explained. It should be emphasized that the People's Deputy talks about the project of the Ministry of Ukraine for Veterans called "Veterans Assistant". At the moment, the initiative has not been fully implemented.

It is known that the duties of a veteran assistant are similar to the social worker, and the salary is promised at the level of 16 thousand hryvnias. Working as a teacher in the WEA for the former military exists only on paper. The number of hours allocated for pre -war training was not determined, accordingly, the level of earnings cannot be calculated. There is another specific option - a dash instructor or shooting coach in children's youth sports schools, Savchuk explains.

Some of the demobilized are returned to their workplaces on a citizen. Some are waiting for suggestions to work with couriers, guards, or construction. In the IT sphere, the situation is better-companies are ready to accept those who went to the front and even help them in rehab. "A living example: two wounded boys returned to the IT company and gradually restore the workflow. Yes, not so quickly because of injuries as others, but still,"-said the People's Deputy Savchuk.

Huge scarcity of personnel in utility companies and state structures: requires technical security engineers, ordinary heads of units, masters of plots and others. Any above work will clearly be paid less than 100 thousand hryvnias of "combat", and this tremendous difference in salaries will remain, the politician said. According to a study of the Veterans Association of Ukraine, 64% of veterans want to do their business and create jobs for the former military.

"The defenders and defenders who have returned are most comfortable to work with brothers. The military and veterans will accurately find understanding about fair remuneration," explains the focus of the Association, the junior lieutenant of the National Guard of Ukraine Sergey Poznyak. Today, most defenders, had a business or stable good income before the war. And the front went not for the salary, but for the will of the duty.

Therefore, they deserve a decent attitude to themselves, including employers, because even after combat missions, highly qualified specialists remain, Poznyak. The expert states that preferences for veterans and military are not laid in the legislation of Ukraine. Therefore, most companies are absent at all.

After the fighting will begin another wave of migration, and it is not necessary to wait for economic rise, it is not necessary to, the president of the All -Ukrainian Association of Companies for International Employment Vasily Voskoboynik. "A half or two million will go and we will find ourselves in a situation where there is simply no work hands. And employers who now take off employees risk being in a situation that no one will come to them at all.

The money will come to Ukraine, but who will serve and produce them The product? Migrants will have to attract and who will come to us is unclear, "he said. Ukrainian employers behave infantile and do not fully understand the prospects of the country after the end of the war and return the military from the front. Problems with alcohol or narcotic addiction and post -traumatic syndrome are extremely exaggerated and relate to a certain number of people, the specialist added.

"If, however, Ukrainians do not receive the competitive conditions of employment and salary, businessmen will eventually lose their business," - summed up a wax. Focus wrote earlier how women began to take to work on Ukrainian mines through the mobilization of men to the Armed Forces. For example, at one of the mines in Ternov in the Lviv region, 600 people went to the war, and 300 women were replaced.
