Blackout in the Russian Federation: the governor of the Kursk region reported a blackout

Share: Power went out for more than 16,000 consumers in the city of Rylsk, as well as in two districts of the Kursk region — Glushkivskyi and Korenivskyi. The governor of the Kursk region Oleksandr Khinshtein confirmed that an emergency power outage occurred as a result of the strike on the substation.

"Energy workers will soon begin to eliminate the consequences of the attack," Khinshtein said in a Telegram post and assured that "we will not leave anyone without help and attention," and he is keeping the situation "under control" personally. Judging by local reports, the attack by unnamed UAVs began around 9:00 p. m. Within half an hour, information appeared in some posts that the substation in Frolovo was attacked by four drones.

But it is not excluded that in Frolovo it was not the substation that was attacked, but the plant, Telegram channel "Supernova+" reports. The published videos show that there is no light in some populated areas of the Russian Federation and the sounds of explosions can be heard. We will remind you that late in the evening on November 1, explosions rang out in the city of Alchevsk, Luhansk region occupied by the Russians, and a fire started.
