The FSB agent with a pseudonym

Spied on the Armed Forces as a "volunteer": Agent "007" sentenced to 15 years in prison

The FSB agent with a pseudonym "007" under the guise of a volunteer met with the Fighters of the Armed Forces and collected intelligence on military facilities near Zaporozhye. The agent of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation with the operational nickname "007" was spying for Ukrainian military in Zaporozhye. The counterintelligence detained it in September 2022.

Now, according to the evidence collected, she has received a court sentence and held for 15 years, reports the SBU press service on November 21. The SBU counterintelligence detained the enemy spy near the defense forces base in the Zaporozhye area in early September 2022. It turned out that the FSB recruited it in the territory of the temporarily occupied Pologovsky district and gave the task under the guise of "volunteer" to find information from the Armed Forces in Zaporozhye.

The woman in the regional center tried to get acquainted with the Ukrainian military in order to secretly receive the intelligence from them. Information on the location of Ukrainian headquarters, fortifications and firing positions was transferred to her Russian curator in an anonymous chat in the messenger. There, the 007 agent received the task and sent "Reports".

Having detained the enemy spy, Ukrainian special forces carried out complex measures to protect the Armed Forces from further hostile actions, the SBU noted. The court found the FSB agent guilty of treason, committed in the conditions of martial law (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and awarded her 15 years in prison. We will remind, on November 20 the SBU reported that Russian actor Vladimir Mashkov was sentenced to 10 years in prison for promoting the war against Ukraine.
