There were six unsuccessful attempts to evacuate and very heavy fire from the Russians, but still the seventh attempt worked, this ground drone of ours helped, and now the wounded fighter is already undergoing treatment and rehabilitation.
His life has been spared," the Head of State said in his evening address. The operation lasted almost six hours. On the way to the wounded NRK, he was hit by an anti-personnel mine, but was able to continue driving on the damaged wheel. On the way back, the NRK was hit by a missile from an enemy drone, but the soldier was not injured thanks to the armored capsule. In total, the NRK covered a distance of 64 km (of which 37 km – with a damaged wheel).
For carrying out this operation, the President of Ukraine awarded the medal "For military service to Ukraine" to lieutenant Oleksandr Dzyuba, junior sergeant Danylo Kutnyak, junior sergeant Mykyta Nesterchuk, captain Gennadiy Novikov, junior sergeant Yaroslav Plekhov, soldier Kyril Serykov, junior sergeant Yury Trunyakov, and the medal "Defender of the Fatherland" to medical service major Asan Charukhov and the medal "For a saved life" - soldier Vadym Kaplun, senior soldier Oleksiy Naumov, junior sergeant Antin Roschin and senior soldier Serhiy Yuldashev.
