"Clear picture in complicated conditions": a new thermal imager for the Armed Forces is presented

OKO Camera thermal imagers make it possible to detect goals in low visibility and extreme temperatures, they claim The Ukrainian company OKO Camera, with the support of the Brave1 defense cluster, has created TVs designed to work in difficult conditions. The Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mikhail Fedorov in his Telegram-channel told about the development. OKO camera produces thermal imagers for drones, robots and other military equipment.

This year, the company took first place on Defense Startup Track IT Arena 2024. "Their cameras give a clear picture, even in difficult conditions of low visibility, extreme temperatures and darkness," said Mikhail Fedorov. The minister stressed that technology received good reviews from the military. In particular, the case is mentioned when during the night intelligence in difficult weather conditions, the cameras showed goals at a distance that is inaccessible to traditional surveillance means.

According to the head of the Mincrifra, the company independently closes the full cycle of production, and also takes into account the feedback of the military and quickly adapts the products to their requests. Brave1 helped the developers involve funding for research and development, as well as introduced experts who helped to introduce their products into military systems.
