The Armed Forces receive hundreds of VECTOR drones to destroy the Russians at night: what is their secret (video)

The manufacturer improved their drones with artificial intelligence, receiving feedback from the Ukrainian military. The German company Quantum Systems has tripled the supply of VECTOR unmanned aerial vehicles to Ukraine. According to representatives of the company, demand is due to the need for Kiev troops to find the enemy in the dark, the Media Defense News reports.

The company's executives refused to inform what units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces drones using operational security, saying only that these units are well known in the Ukrainian special forces because of their work at night. It is known that the Munich manufacturer made the first supply of 40 unmanned aerial vehicles of the Far Dar radius of Vector to Ukraine in 2022. It was about the time when Russian troops tried to move deep into the Ukrainian territory, forcing rivers and other reservoirs.

It was at this time (in May 2022) that Vector and passed his "baptism": the drone showed himself well during the battle near the Siverskyi Donets. Then he was able to perform combat missions, despite the difficult conditions (high smoke of the territory) and the work of Russian system systems. After that, the order for the German drone was only increased: in January 2023 the Armed Forces ordered 105 drones, and in May - 300 drones.

Moreover, the manufacturer continues to improve the design and technical characteristics of his UAV, based on the reviews of Ukrainian drone operators. They have even created a Signal channel, which has about 200 Dronovodes exchanged the experience of using Vector in combat.

On the basis of the received reviews, the creators of the drones have improved in three directions: updating software, increasing the time of autonomous work for one hour and hardware changes, the latter helped stabilize vertical take -off and planting drones, which enabled them to land safely in different conditions.

"We are also working on expanding VECTOR artificial intelligence capabilities so that it can better connect and integrate with battle management systems and impact drones, as well as increasing the number of sensors and radar elements so that they can better detect artillery fire," - says the director's media words From the sales of Sven Kruka.

The media also notes that Quantum Systems already has a training and logistics center in Ukraine, where 200 operators have been trained with the help of 15 Ukrainian instructors. Now the company's executives want to take the next step - to conclude an agreement on the creation of a plant production plant in Ukraine. According to representatives of the company, the local presence will allow you to speed up the maintenance of VECTOR drones and accelerate the cycle of development of new functions.

Vector is a meter -type UAV with a vertical take -off and landing system and a long work time (up to 2 hours). They can be used for reconnaissance, determining the situation, mapping, assessment of combat damage, search and rescue, protection and high -ranking persons. The drones are equipped with double electro -optical and thermal enlightenment chambers for daytime and night observation.

The images are transmitted in real time encrypted IP network on several ground control points up to 15 kilometers. The drones are also equipped with artificial intelligence that uses special algorithms for automatic image analysis, detection, identification and tracking of objects and transmission of valuable information by land units.
