The greatest update since the Cold War: NATO will counter the Russian Federation in a new way-the media

The new document, as sources share, contains more than four thousand pages of reforms, which calculate all the risks and provocations that the Kremlin can go. NATO has completed the greatest updating of the Russian Federation's strategy since the Cold War. This was reported on May 11 by the Spanish edition of El Pais, citing sources in the Alliance.

According to the newspaper, the North Atlantic Alliance has virtually completed the reform, which is a strategy for resisting Russian aggression against the background of war in Ukraine. The new architecture has become the "largest reconfiguration from the Cold War", as the sources that participated in its creation. It contains more than 4,000 pages that have outlined all reforms of a number of military procedures. They no longer provide large military groups - smaller battalions will prevail.

First of all, the document analyzes and updates the threats that the Kremlin may represent against the Alliance. The new plan is likely to be approved at a summit in Vilnius, which will take place in July. "Regional plans (so -called strategy) need to improve the NATO Armed Forces model to create more capable troops throughout the Alliance," said NATO Chairman, Admiral Rob Bauer. At the meeting, which took place on May 10, the countries, together with Jens Stoltenberg, studied a new strategy.

A separate point is when the Alliance will respond to provocations by the Russian Federation. The plan contains several scenarios, as they say in the material. At the same time, the new concept was a little concerned about NATO allies bordering the Russian Federation, because in the first place in the case of escalation the blow will be directed on them. They urged to work out individual elements and to strengthen their presence in this area.
