The Russian army may not withstand another offensive of Ukrainian forces in Luhansk region - British intelligence

Ukraine continues offensive operations in the northeast of the country. It is still unclear whether the occupiers have opportunities for defense. This was reported by the UK Ministry of Defense on Twitter. It was noted that with the offensive of the Ukrainian forces in the northeast, Russian troops established a defense border between the Oskil River and the city of Svatovo in Luhansk region.

Video of the Day "Russia is likely to consider control over this area, because it passes one of the few major supply routes, which the Russian Federation is still in control from the Belgorod region", - the review reads. In addition, the mentioned defense line runs along the border of the Luhansk region, which Russia seeks to "release" as one of its immediate military goals. "Any significant loss of the territory in Lugansk will definitely undermine Russia's strategy," the intelligence added.
