Please tell me why now? Why right now? After all, Putin has long been ripe to start mobilization and may not even be partial, but general. Video of the day-first, I would like to say that all these rumors about the referendum, when it would seem, Russia is coming on this topic, requires negotiations, and the United States has no less strongly said that everything could happen in the near future. Just for information, we need to trust American sources, they know something.
Why now? It seems to me that there were different branches there, different options for further actions that were discussed in the Russian authorities. One of the options is mobilization and referendums, and it is now chosen after some hesitation. Even with how it is done: Putin signed a very wide decree without specifics, simply transferred the authority, first, to the Ministry of Defense.
And secondly, regional authorities, not the president, not special services, not military counterintelligence, not everything, but on this line, should be engaged in mobilization. And so I think that it was not just that this decision was made. And the results are still unknown.
- Can Ukraine then hope for more powerful support from the event? And in general, what can be the reaction of the event? Not just "we express anxiety", but so specific? -Our partners, they seem to understand the basic variant of events and knew more or less about it. And after the Kharkiv counter -offensive in the United States and allies, it is discussed what to do next.
