"I was in the center of Kiev, not he": Biden made fun of Putin in the final speech (video)

US President Joe Biden said that during the presidential term he had two tasks: to restrain the Russian Federation and prevent nuclear war. On January 13, US President Joe Biden made a final speech on success in foreign policy, which his administration has achieved in 4 years. Among the main achievements, he called the unification of 50 countries in support of Ukraine, weakening Russia with sanctions and prevention of direct confrontation between the two nuclear powers.

Biden noted that his presidential term had fallen in the history of the world. "The times after the Cold War" in the past. A new era began. Over these 4 years we met with the crisis that tested us, and we came out after them, in my opinion, "he said. According to him, the plan of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin failed from the capture of Ukraine, he failed to destroy either Ukraine or NATO. "Putin, when he came to Ukraine, thought he would win Kiev in 3 days.

But since then I was in the center of Kiev, and he was not," Biden said. He added that to support Ukraine, its administration united 50 countries in Europe and Asia. Also, the 46th President of the United States mentioned the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation, which, he said, weakens and restrained the Kremlin. "We see that weapons are provided, ammunition, and also sanctions that help to restrain Russia. And because of this we see how much equipment is losing Russia on the battlefield.

The Russian ruble is experiencing very difficult times. So, I had two tasks here. On the one hand, to restrain Russia in this war, on the other - to prevent nuclear war, "Biden said. He believes that his administration has succeeded in these areas and laid the foundation for the next government so that it can continue to provide Ukraine with support for the fight for sovereignty and the future and to work on peace.
