According to Ova Prokudin, the Russians fired at the homes of civilians. The victims of the invaders were the elderly, they died on the spot from the wounds received. Russian troops on Wednesday, February 22, fired from the artillery village of Novotyaginka of Kherson region. This was reported on Facebook by the head of the regional military administration Alexander Proudin. The village of Novotyaginka is located 40 km from Kherson. As it is specified, the enemy fired at the homes of civilians.

As a result, two people were killed in the settlement from the shell fragments. The victims of the invaders were an 81-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man. "The wreckage of hostile shells took away the lives of two elderly people-an 81-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man," Proudin wrote. Older people died on the spot because of their wounds. Local Telegram channels wrote at midnights about explosions in Kherson and Kakhovsky district of Kherson region.
