On Youth Day, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, together with his wife, Elena took part in the ceremony of commemorating the participants of the action "Rescuers-heroes of war". This action is carried out by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine with the support of the President. It happens for the first time. The participants of the action are young Ukrainians who performed the rescuer's feat during a full -scale Russian invasion.

The ceremony was held in the White Hall of Heroes of Ukraine in the Mariinsky Palace in Kiev. “I am glad that we are starting the holiday of youth on such a very important event - we congratulate our young heroes. Your actions are strong and adults, ”the head of state said, addressing the participants of the action. Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked their children who raised them bold and responsible citizens.

The President stressed that today's ceremony is taking place in the hall where the heroes of Ukraine are awarded and honored. "For me, honor to welcome you in this hall that has become different today," he said. The head of state thanked the young Ukrainians for their courage and stability. “We can be proud of you, which means that Ukraine has a future that we can be proud of today. Congratulations to all of you. You are good, our state applaudes you.

The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky and the Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Sergey Kruk, who presented the participants of the action with valuable gifts and kits of the rescuer form. In particular, ten -year -old Maxim Brovchenko from Berdyansk was awarded. The boy has a violation of the autistic spectrum.

With the beginning of full -scale hostilities in the territory of Ukraine, he and his family were occupied, and only in April his family was able to leave. Under the supervision of doctors in the state of medical sleep, Maxim and his mother got to Zaporozhye. They live there today. Maxim draws "space" paintings. His creative work has more than one hundred works, some of which are now in Kiev, and the vast majority in the occupied homeland.

One of his paintings sold a young artist for 10 thousand UAH, and he transferred the money to the military. During the ceremony, Maxim Brovchenko presented Olena Zelenskaya. 14-year-old Sashko Gutsal from Bucha, whose family was occupied until April 9, was also honored. The family was covered in the basement, and Sashko, at risk of risking his own life, made his way past the enemy's ambush to find food and feed younger children. In April, the whole family was evacuated to Vinnytsia region.

Seven -year -old Irina Vasilyev from Rivne became laureate. The girl's father-Oleksandr Vasilyev-served in the 14th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and died during the performance of a service task on March 27 in the village of Blessed, Mykolaiv region. Irina lost in the war and her uncle. Nevertheless, she firmly decided to continue Dad's case and defend Ukraine. The girl produces wreaths and managed to collect more than 7 thousand euros.

Two thermal imagers and two cars that will be sent to the front have already been purchased for these funds. The search for a third car is currently underway. Her peers Yegor Shemet was also marked by Chernihiv region. With his brother and two sisters, he lives with his grandmother. As a result of the fighting, their home has been partially damaged, but the family still lives in it.

With a wooden machine in his hands, the boy protects the destroyed street, where only three houses were survived after the occupation. After the release of the village, Yegor helps pyrotechnics - reports where suspicious objects are similar to explosive. The guy dreams of becoming a saper, and still wants to cure his older brother and repair the house. 12-year-old Gleb Bondarenko from Kharkiv became laureate.

While on a playground during a hostile shelling of the city with cassette bombs, Gleb closed himself as a younger boy, which saved his life. Gleb himself was injured in the right shoulder, right lung, atrium. Now the guy, along with his mother, is undergoing treatment at the children's surgical department of the Charatite Clinic in Berlin. The President also noted the heroism of 15-year-old Andriy Pokrasa from the village of Kolonschyna, in the Buchan district in the Kyiv region.

From February 24 to March 6, the boy with his family stayed at home and every day with his father, using a drone, helped the military from Troy to adjust the fire at hostile positions. The result of his work is a burned column of fifty units of Russian equipment that moved to Kyiv. In early March, Andrew went to Poland and his sister and his sister, where he graduated. On June 1, he returned to Ukraine. He is now in a camp in the Carpathians.

Seven -year -old David Ponulyak was also honored from Zaporozhye. The guy deals with the Cossack martial arts "Spas", has victories in urban competitions. His mother Elena Shevchuk is a journalist, children's writer and chairman of the Zaporozhye Beregin NGO. Therefore, David and his mother are assisting the wounded in the Zaporozhye military hospital together. The boy communicates with defenders, sings songs, reads poems. He also weaves nets.

After the prisoners were exchanged, when the Ukrainian soldiers, including amputated limbs, were brought to the hospital, little David made angels and gave the defenders to support them. In addition, 16-year-old Danilo Sergeyev was awarded. Before the war-a student of the 10th grade of Mariupol comprehensive school № 47. His mother Anna Sergeyev is a serviceman, and his father Vadim worked at the war at the Azovstal MMC. After the war in Mariupol, Danylo and his father remained in the city.

The guy helped extinguish fires that occurred as a result of enemy shelling in the homes where people were. On the ruins of crushed stores he sought food, cooked with adult food on fire and fed older people, helped sick and elderly people who could not move to the basements on their own, hid those killed in the yard.
