The next package of EU sanctions should include further restrictions on the Russian financial sector and alternative payments, personal sanctions and the infrastructure of the shadow fleet - Vladyslav Vlasyuk

Vladyslav Vlasyuk, the President's authorized adviser on sanctions policy, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Denmark to Ukraine, Thomas Lund-Sørensen. “It's been a busy week with the very successful results we achieved yesterday. I would like to sincerely thank Denmark for its help in this difficult process of achieving unanimous support by the countries of the European Union for the 19th sanctions package.

We don't plan to stop - we have to work on the 20th package," said Vladyslav Vlasyuk. It is important that the next package of sanctions includes further restrictions on the Russian financial sector and alternative payments, personal sanctions and shadow fleet infrastructure. The President's Plenipotentiary Advisor also welcomed the creation of a joint non-governmental project - the Center for Geoeconomics and Sustainability, within which the Sanctions Expertise Hub will operate.
