The journalists stressed that the Vatican did not immediately confirm such a proposal.
In addition, Meloni reported that she also negotiated with other European leaders and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on further steps. "It was agreed to maintain close coordination between partners for the purpose of a new round of negotiations aimed at ceasefire and concluding a peace agreement in Ukraine," the Italy Prime Minister stressed.
