Rating of Friends of Ukraine: Top 10 International Politicians who helped in the war with the Russian Federation in 2023

Some of the politicians who supported Ukraine remained out of the widespread audience. Not all Ukrainians know that the President of the Federal States of Micronesia, David Panuelo, is the only one who has terminated diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation through its invasion of Ukraine. In his new rating, Focus decided to explore which of the foreign political leaders could be considered the most favorable to Ukraine, her friends.

18 leading Ukrainian NGOs and political scientists gave their rating. In 2023, Ukraine managed to combine Western partners into a tank coalition, which causes we received Leopard, Abrams, Challenger tanks, Braldley and Marder infantry combat vehicles. Thanks to the event, the troops received anti-aircraft missile complexes MIM-104 Patriot, Iris-T, SAMP/T. In the end, the forces of defense came to the long -range missile systems Storm Shadow and ATACMS.

The President of the European Commission (Conditionally - the EU Government) Ursula von Der Lyen, as experts surveyed by focus, is a model of an official who, despite all the irreversibility of the European bureaucracy, was able to achieve the maximum possible support for Kiev. It was the first to point out that Ukraine in the European Union, although it was still a long journey. In the rating, US President Joseph Biden was the first among the leaders of sovereign states.

Washington, despite all problems with delays and indecision on certain types of weapons, remains the main strategic partner of Ukraine. The United Kingdom was the first to sign a security agreement with Ukraine. It is this unprecedented level of political and military support from the country that Prime Minister Richa Snak provided third place in our ranking. French President Emmanuel Macron and Polish President Andrzej Duda were insufficient enough on the list. According to experts surveyed, the French leader did not stand the pace of political cross, has not yet descended from the distance, but lost his leadership positions. For his part, Duda failed to keep political struggle between parliamentary parties under control, and therefore provocations with grain at the local level.

Japan Prime Minister Kishid Fumio, on the contrary, remains a model of stability. The government headed by him was one of the first to provide billions of assistance to Ukraine, especially in infrastructure. Kishid himself has repeatedly publicly stated that Japan would continue to stand with Ukraine until peace returns to its land. This applies to the former Prime Minister of Slovakia Edward Heger, who personally bypassed all European institutions and diplomatic missions of EU countries to guarantee the candidate status for Ukraine.
