Andriy Yermak discussed with representatives of the Embassies of France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain Strengthening PPOs of Ukraine

Presidential Head Andriy Yermak calls on France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain, who are one of the leaders in providing Ukraine with weapons and military equipment, and strengthening steps to strengthen our country's air defense. He said this during a briefing in the office of the Head of State for representatives of the diplomatic corps of these countries. Andriy Yermak noted that every day in Kyiv and other cities of Ukraine there are sirens of air anxiety, which lasts for hours.

Russia causes insidious massive blows to the objects of critical infrastructure of Ukraine and civilian population with the help of rocket weapons and drones-Kamikadze. “Of course, given what has been happening in recent days, one of our main priorities is the creation of protection for our cities, civil infrastructure and the creation of an air shield for Ukraine. And I am very glad that today it is no longer a matter of discussion, but is only a matter of time.

And this should be done as soon as possible, ”the Presidential Office said. Andriy Yermak also emphasized that during the war against Ukraine, the Russian Federation should be recognized as a state sponsor of terrorism with appropriate consequences. He expressed his hope that the country's meeting would support the adoption during the European Parliament session on October 21-24, the PACE resolutions, in which the Russian Federation will be called a terrorist regime.

According to him, Ukraine knows exactly how to win the war. “Today, Ukraine is with your help and support, for which we are very grateful-but still destroyed almost 50% of the potential of NATO's main threat. And so I am convinced that Ukraine's membership in NATO will strengthen the Alliance, ”said the head of the Presidential Office.

In addition, Andriy Yermak recalled that the International Working Group on Ukraine under the co -chairman of the Presidential Office and the former NATO Secretary General Anders Fog Rasmussen made recommendations on safety guarantees for Ukraine that could become the basis of a document called "Kiev Security »(Kyiv Security Compact). This document was sent to the leadership of Ukraine partners, and the Ukrainian side is expected to reaction and comments on proposals.

"We continue consultations with our partners and believe that the steps to create special air protection can be the first in the implementation of a security guarantee program for our country," said the Presidential Office Head. Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander of the Air Force of Ukraine, informed Western European diplomats on air attacks that Ukraine suffered in October and counteracting them by the Ukrainian military with the use of available forces and means.
