They do not find out immediately: Energoatom explained how quickly the Russian terrorist attack on the ZPP is known

Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko noted that in the event of an accident at the station, Ukraine will not be able to immediately observe the event in real time. The delay in obtaining information will affect the course of the whole process. In case of blasting the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZPP), Ukraine will be able to obtain information about it only in a few hours due to lack of direct access to radiation control through Russian invaders at the station.

This was stated by President of NNEGC Petro Kotin, TSN reports. Kotin noted that the Russian side controls radiation monitoring. Currently, radiation monitoring sensors in the controlled territory in the right -bank zone have been installed in Ukraine. With these sensors, Kiev will be able to track the situation. "If there is really an emission at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, we will have information in a few hours.

If there is a normal situation with air, then in just a few minutes we will have this information," Kotin said. In turn, according to the media, the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko expressed his hope that representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which are present at the station, will immediately transmit information about the event to the headquarters of the agency and to Kiev.

Galushchenko also noted that in the event of an accident, Ukraine will not be able to see the event in real time, she will know about it, but the delay in obtaining information will affect the whole process. We will remind, on June 30, "Energoatom" voiced the most likely scenario of development of events in case of blasting by Russian invaders of Zaporizhzhya NPP. In the near future, potential accident training will be held at all nuclear stations of Ukraine.
