Trump admits the issue of withdrawal of sanctions imposed on Russia: what is known

To spread: Donald Trump suggests that "at some point" the United States will have to consider withdrawing sanctions from Russia, which were imposed before and after the start of a full -scale invasion. US President Donald Trump thinks that sanctions against Russia should be considered sooner or later. According to him, a "some point" may come when these sanctions imposed by the United States through Russian aggression can be canceled.

The politician reported this during a conversation with journalists in the White House at night from 25 to 26 Kiev time. "I think it will be at some point," he said correspondents to the abolition of sanctions against the Russian Federation. However, he added that this issue was not discussed in the White House now, but "any sanctions" against anyone are not going to be abolished. "Right now, we did not agree to cancel the sanctions on anyone," Donald Trump said.

The US President did not specify under what conditions the White House may consider the abolition of sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation. At the same time, during a conversation, the politician repeated that he had negotiations with Russia with Russia. It should be noted that political scientists suggest that the White House can raise the issue of abolishing sanctions against Russia.

In particular, Volodymyr Fesenko claims that the United States is currently signaling that the weakening of the restrictions entered and prohibitions may become part of peace negotiations on the completion of the Russian-Ukrainian War. However, the Kremlin does not think that the weakening of the sanctions imposed can be a key factor in the negotiations. This was reported in particular by Bloomberg on February 21.

Volodymyr Fesenko believes that the further fate of sanctions imposed against Russia through its aggression towards Ukraine depends on how the negotiation process will occur in the future. The focus wrote more about this in a separate material on February 25. It should be noted that during a conversation with journalists in the White House at night, on February 26, Trump also spoke about assistance to Ukraine and an agreement on rare earth resources.
