Since the service is related to the performance of the country's protection responsibilities, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are entitled to legal benefits, guarantees and monetary compensations. The increase in indexation wages should occur from the first day of the month following the official publication of the consumer price index. In 2025, indexation will be carried out if the consumer pricing index exceeds the indexation threshold set at 103%. The State Statistics Service calculates the consumer price index not later than the 10th of the month following the reporting.
This index is published in official publications, after which the financial departments carry out the recalculation of salaries, in particular the cash security of servicemen. The amount of salary indexation is determined by multiplying the income to be indexed by the increase in consumer price index, divided by 100%.
