The politician asked why Ukraine could not do this when the Russian Federation attacks its infrastructure.

"The problem of attacks in a critically important infrastructure in the oil and gas sector, when civil goals, are concerned because Ukraine adheres to the highest standards for compliance with laws in conflict, and this is one of the elements of European democracy," Vollander said. For his part, Scott noted that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, meanwhile, attack the oil and gas objects of Ukraine. According to him, to win the war, you can not just take strokes and do not open fire.

"We have concerns about the strikes for civilian purposes, when we support countries, again, it is a sovereign decision of Ukraine, but we express these fears," - said assistant to the Head of the Defense Office. At the same time, Vollander agreed with Scott that the mentioned objects of oil and gas infrastructure of Russia belong to persons related to the Kremlin, who are part of Vladimir Putin's regime.
