According to representatives of "UZ", there are rules of transportation of animals approved by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, which must be observed. "Animals whose height in a withers of more than 45 cm can travel without transfer, but if they redeem all places in the compartment, as well as all the equipment (leash and muzzle). In the Intercite, such dogs cannot.

Animals whose size does not exceed 45 cm in the withers can travel by rail, provided there is a transfer, it should be with itself, " - the message reads. This rule does not apply because of the conditional danger, but because of a lack of place in passenger baggage areas and discomfort for the animals themselves. The company added that the rules are already outdated, and the team is currently working on their updating, but it is quite a difficult and long process.

"Changes are made to the Cabinet of Ministers, so the speed of decision -making depends not only on Ukrzaliznytsia. We have studied the experience of foreign railways now, we have developed a number of proposals and recommendations, so they will soon be considered involved by the experts," - assured in "UZ". Later, Darya added that the development of new dog transportation of dogs was joined by the zoo protection organization Uanimals.

"Instead of resorting to loud public statements, we decided to meet with Ukrzaliznytsia representatives first and to speak a common vision and possible actions. There will be no memorandum, we immediately take the case," Zoos said.
