"Holds the defense of the South." Petition for the purchase for Nikolaev the air defense system has gained the necessary for consideration of 25 thousand signatures

An electronic petition on the website of the President of Ukraine on the purchase of a modern air defense system for Nikolaev has gained the necessary 25 thousand signatures for consideration. This was reported on the website of the Head of State. The address states that from the first days of the war, Nikolaev keeps the defense of the South. Russian invaders systematically fire Nikolaev. On July 29, the Russian Federation fired at a public transport stop in Nikolaev.

Eight people were killed, at least 19 were injured. On Wednesday, August 10, the Russians fired at Nikolaev with jet shells with RSSL tornado. Three people were injured, 34 private homes, enterprise, warehouses and autopozings were damaged. Earlier in the Mykolaiv Regional Council reported that there are 299 victims in the Nikolaev hospitals as a result of attacks of Russian invaders.

Previously, the required number of signatures was collected by a petition for strengthening Kharkiv air defense and region. In response, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the air defense of the city of Kharkiv and Kharkiv region is carried out in the general system of air defense of Ukraine.
