Demining technique that a group of students presented at the YEP Hardware Engineering Hackathon developers is a modular platform with high -sensitivity metal detector, camera and positioning unit. It can be installed on caterpillar and wheel equipment and even unmanned aerial vehicles. Technical development is recognized as storage with the sappers of life, because it will be the first to work in replaced areas.
When the metal detector "feels" under the ground of a mine, it records the coordinates of the suspicious area and, together with the video, transfers it to the operator to the computer. The technique is also able to determine the approximate depth at which the mine is. After the explosive equipment, they process this information and go for demining in a clearly limited square.
However, the invention of students has a disadvantage: the minister responds to the entire metal underground, not just to mines. Therefore, it is likely that, instead of an explosive object, sappers can find a rusty piece of iron. The developers themselves say that their mining is unique primarily by the fact that specific modules, frequencies and coils were used during its manufacture.
In addition, compared to available analogues, the model of students is more budgetary and more versatile, as it can be installed on any of the platforms. For this purpose models of agrodrons or drones with high loading (such as DJI) are suitable. In addition, the development is much cheaper than analogues that are already sold in the technology market. The manufacture of one such minister requires an average of 18 thousand hryvnias.
For their part, its creators plan to put their production "on the stream". Considering that it takes 5 hours to assemble one model and they are ready to produce up to 100 units a year. We will remind, in early July the media wrote that the Ukrainian military invented a "invisible" land drone. The four -wheeled car costs only 30 thousand UAH and is similar to a toy, but it is in fact a dangerous weapon.
