Initially, critically important objects are connected to the power grid, but soon electricity will appear in residential buildings, Kirill Tymoshenko assured. The released Kherson restored electricity supply. Kirill Tymoshenko, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, reported this on his Telegram. Electricity returned to Kherson a week after the city's de -occupation and the escape of Russian invaders.

Kirill Tymoshenko emphasized that primarily the objects of critical infrastructure connect to the network, but soon light should appear in the homes of the locals. "I thank everyone who worked around the clock on this task: SES, police, electricians from all over Ukraine, heads of Kherson and Mykolaiv Ova and their teams. Together, we are power!" - the representative of the Presidential Office commented.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Yaroslav Yanushevych confirmed a partial restoration of electricity supply in Kherson on Facebook. He showed a video with the launch of equipment and devices that registered energy supply. "Kherson, as soon as your homes appear in your homes, do not rush to switch on the household electrical devices. Voltage drops are possible! Because of this, your equipment can burn," the official warned.

On the eve of Yaroslav Yanushevych reported that the International Committee of the Red Cross had handed over to the city utility companies equipment for electricity supply of important systems. In particular, the power companies received five generators with a capacity of 160 kW and five transformers with a capacity of 250 kW. The Kherson Vodokanal launched four generators on 60 kW and two diesel pumps for sewage.

In addition, a 110 kW generator appeared at the Kherson Regional Center for Blood - it was provided by Cherkasy Ova to save wounded people. On November 11, Kherson returned under Ukraine's control after 8 months of occupation. The GUR Ministry of Defense reported that parts of the Armed Forces entered the city and destroy the remains of Russian soldiers who did not cross the east bank of the Dnieper. The occupiers left Kherson without energy and water during the retreat.
