Ukraine and Ireland will continue to cooperate to prevent Russia from getting into Russia bypassing sanctions bypassing

Advisor - Presidential Commissioner for sanction policy Vladislav Vlasyuk held a meeting with Ireland Ambassador to Ukraine Jonathan Konlon. During the meeting, they discussed increased sanction pressure on the Russian Federation, including Ireland's proposals to the 16th EU sanction package. Particular attention to sanctions against the Russian energy sector and the shadow fleet, as well as the rejection of the European Union from imports of the Russian LNG.

Other important topics are investigations into the components of Irish production available in Russian weapons. Jonathan Conlon stressed that Ireland has worked out in detail the materials transferred to Ukraine and took measures to strengthen control over production and prevent critical components from entering the aggressor country. Ukraine and Ireland have agreed to continue cooperation to strengthen the control of double -use goods.
