Ukraine and Ireland intensify cooperation for the return of Russian children stolen by Russia

The Ukrainian delegation, led by Advisor - Authorized President for the Rights of the Child and Children's Rehabilitation Daria Gerasimchuk, visited Ireland to strengthen cooperation to return illegally deported and displaced by Russia of Ukrainian children. The visit took place within the framework of the Stolen Voice information campaign, which is part of Vladimir Zelensky Bring Kids Back UA.

Darya Gerasimchuk met with representatives of the Ireland Government, in particular with the director of the European Neighborhood Department of the Political Department of the Foreign Ministry Dervla Doyle and the Director of the International Relations Department and the EU of Prime Minister's Office Ronan Gargan. “Ukrainian children are witnesses to crimes against humanity that Russia is trying to hide.

The Russians abduct our children and, by changing their names, identity and native language, try to make them "Russian". We will not stop until every child returns home. We are grateful to Ireland for their support and willingness to join forces in this important business, ”the adviser - the Presidential Commissioner said.

The Institute of International and European Affairs also held a panel discussion dedicated to the return of stolen Ukrainian children and the reintegration of those who managed to return home. Kira and Alexander are children who came with the Ukrainian delegation - they told that they had to endure. They are both from Mariupol. The girl's dad Russian invaders killed, the boy's mother disappeared after the filtration camp. The children were abducted and taken to one of the Donetsk hospitals.
