President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the external intelligence service of Ukraine (SZR) revealed the plan of the Russian Federation for further military operation of the territory of Belarus. He reported this on social networks. According to Zelensky, the report of the head of the SZR Oleg Ivashchenko testified to the increase in the activity of Russia in Belarus.
The President stressed that Ukraine will not disclose the details of the reconnaissance materials, but all the states that the new Russian strategy may threaten will be informed in advance. "Oleg Ivashchenko reported on the Russian plan of further military exploitation of the territory of Belarus. At this stage we will not make information public. We will warn the partners that it can threaten," the President said.
Earlier in Kiev it was reported that Russia transfers to Belarusian landfills and personnel under the guise of participation in maneuvers. Ukrainian analysts regard this as part of the Kremlin's hybrid strategy for pressure on Ukraine and NATO countries. As recently reported by Focus, the Armed Forces of Belarus are translated into a state of full combat readiness.
