According to analysts, the situation can still be saved if an entire brigade is transferred to the city, since there are not enough special forces under such conditions. Analysts explained exactly how the Russians acted when trying to occupy Pokrovsk. Subversive and reconnaissance groups, which were becoming more and more, infiltrated the city. The enemy made its way through the streets, attacked Ukrainian units operating at a certain distance from the front line.

As a result, the Russians found a weak point and entered Pokrovsk in the area of ​​Zvirovoy, Shevchenko, along the railway tracks from Kotlyny.
