After the situation with the Wagner PEC normalized, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation began preparation for the transfer to the balance of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation of heavy equipment "Wagnerivtsi". The press service of the Defense Office announced this on June 27.

"Preparation for the transfer of heavy military equipment to the existing units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continues," the message reads. In their comments to the event, Defense Express experts noted that in fact it is about disarmament of a military company, because, according to the head of the PEC Yevgeny Prigogine, "Wagner" is two heavy weapons divisions.

"Given that the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation actively equipped mercenaries with any weapon, and not only tanks, artillery, but also anti-aircraft missile systems and even aviation, it is about the actual disarmament of the detachment," the experts emphasized. They suggested that in conditions when the armed formation of 25,000 people is well equipped with heavy military equipment, the Kremlin simply had no other way out.

Above the military leadership was forced to take such a step, because in order to resist such formation, it would be necessary to tear huge forces from the front. "But it seems that the situation can change dramatically just after the mercenaries are left without heavy weapons," experts summed up.
