According to the monitoring channels, residents of the villages of Fruit and Upper Sadia saw a bright outbreak in the area of the Belbek military airfield. On the night of January 3, explosions thickened on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula. The adviser to the mayor of the city of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko in his Telegram-channel has informed about it.

According to Andryushchenko, the explosions thickened in the village of Turgenev near Bakhchisarai and Simferopol. The official noted that an explosive wave was felt in Sevastopol, and in the Cape Fiolent area it was visible how smoke was rising. The Crimean Wind Monitoring Telegram channel reported that smoke could be seen after two strong explosions over Sevastopol.

According to the channel subscribers, glass was flew in one of the Sevastopol neighborhoods, on Zhidilov Street, and the houses were shaking in Bakhchisarai. The authors of the channel also noted that the impact could be struck by the Belbek airfield, which the occupiers use for military purposes, but this information needs confirmation. Later on the channel reported that residents of the villages of Fruet and Upper Sadovo saw a bright flash in the airfield.

The occupation governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozozhayev claims that a rocket had been shot over the Black Sea. He also stated with reference to the rescue service that there were no infrastructure damage. The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the incident.

We will remind, on January 2, representatives of the military movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars reported that the guerrillas handed over to the defense forces of Ukraine the coordinates of air defense systems located near the Crimean Bridge. Earlier, on December 30, the Atesh guerrillas reported that the Ukrainian underground had a comprehensive intelligence in the temporarily occupied Evpatoria district in the Crimea.
