Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the rights and freedoms of the Russian citizens "guaranteed by the Constitution and are inviolable" and called for accelerating the process of formation of "courts" in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The head of state-aggressor stated this during a speech at the Congress of Judges of the Russian Federation on Tuesday, November 29.
"(We need to avoid) a superficial or indictment during court proceedings, investigative and other procedural actions. The rights and freedoms of our citizens are guaranteed by the Constitution - they are inviolable. We should never forget about it," Putin said. The President of the Russian Federation stated that the work on the formation of "courts" in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and integration of them into the Russian judicial system is in the future.
"It is necessary to do this in the shortest possible time that citizens living in these territories are guaranteed a constitutional right to judicial protection," the head of the Russian state added. Putin also touched on the topic of investigating the Nazis during World War II. According to him, the process of gathering evidence "on the atrocities of the Nazis continues" and every such fact "must be given a legal judicial assessment".
