Polish expert Tomash Lisetsky said in an interview with Defense 24, published on July 30. At the beginning of the conversation, Lisetsky noted that Ukrainian fighters are approvingly responding to the German PZH 2000, the Polish Krab systems, or American M109. At the same time, there are quite old models of tools, such as the Italian M109L samples, removed from weapons many years ago.

"Let there be older guns, for example, a long-range 130mm M46 guns supplied by Croatia, which have shown themselves well under Bakhmut," the expert notes. However, it is not the type of gun, but the skills of artillery calculation and the number of ammunition to a particular system. According to Lisetsky, Ukrainian fighters would not abandon the Soviet systems if they were offered 100 guns with a large stock of ammunition.

Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the counter -battering struggle of Ukrainian fighters is due to various factors: all this in the complex leads to good results, but especially Lisetsky emphasized effective logistics. "I respect Ukrainian logists for their ability to work with hundreds of artillery systems, several hundred types of ammunition and rockets, thousands of spare parts, fuel and lubricants," the Polish expert emphasized.
