"Physics laws do not deceive": the military revealed whether the Russians can denser the Starlink of the Armed Forces

According to Sergei Flesh, there is no global threat to satellite communication in Ukraine, but the military needs to take precautionary measures at the forefront. The Russians create problems in the work of the Starlink Satellite Internet on the front, but their capabilities are very limited. About it wrote in his Facebook a Ukrainian military expert on communication and radio electronic wrestling Sergey Beskrestnov with the call sign "Flash".

According to him, Russian troops are quite capable of "stifling" the satellite Internet Starlink, suppressing the transmission of signals between satellites and terminals, but only if they can install the antenna of the EW on a high building and at a large angle. In this case, the Armed Forces really have problems with receiving the signal, but only at a distance of about 500 meters, says Sergei. In addition, this task requires specific antennas that are easy to see and recognize.

"The Russians can tighten such an EW at a height, an elevator or a mobile tower and at a very large angle from above to interfere with Starlink to receive satellites. I tested this option, it works literally 500 meters," the expert wrote. - "neither Russians nor Martian can deceive the laws of physics. " Sergei Flesh added that the situation is already monitored in the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and in the last few months only one case is known about the use of the RBA against Starlink.

It is difficult to "suppress" satellite communication signal, and it works only in certain situations. There is no global threat practice, but Ukrainian soldiers should take into account such a threat and prepare for them in advance.

Sergiy Beskrestnov advised to counteract such attempts by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to install antennas for Starlink in safe places: deeply drip them into the ground, prepare dense nets of corrugated board, build special simple wells from the same corrugated board. According to Sergius, the enemy is constantly trying to come up with new ways to leave the Armed Forces without the Internet on the front and should be prepared for this.

We have already written that Robert Brody, commander of the Magyar Birds Birds of the 59th OMPB with the call sign "Magyar", in Telegram-channel reported the use of the occupants at "zero" (lines of collisions at the front) Ku band can stall starlink. However, he expects that the invaders will soon get to the most important KA band. Earlier, Focus reported that Ilon Musk would no longer disable Stalink for the Armed Forces. Pentagon will buy up to 500 terminals for Ukraine for satellite Internet.
