Scenarios include trenches' fights, as well as UAVs and HRS. The military command notes that maneuvers are as close as possible to real combat conditions. Large -scale Saber Junction military exercises are ongoing at the German Graphenever and Hohenfels, with about 4,300 servicemen from 11 countries.

The peculiarity of current maneuvers is the emphasis on the development of scenarios related to a potential military conflict with Russia, which, according to the Army, proved to be the most difficult to perform. This was reported on September 5 by Stars and Stripes. The participants of the event are involved in various operations, including armored, artillery and medical tasks, as well as in new fields, such as cyber communication and psychological operations.

In addition, training includes training on landing from C-130 and C-17 aircraft, after which the units pass difficulty to the area of combat readiness. Particular attention is paid to the study of tactics tested during hostilities in Ukraine. The scripts include trenches, the use of drones and radio electronic struggle to counteract the dominant enemy forces.

The commander of the training unit, brigade General Stephen Karpenter, noted that the training is as close as possible to real combat conditions. "They are probably waiting for them the hardest fight in which they have ever participated. But we want it to be the most difficult that when they came into battle, it seemed to them that everything is a little easier," the commander said.
