"Pope is worth coming to Ukraine." As the agency of Russia appeared in the Vatican - Ambassador Andriy Yurash explained the ambiguous words of Francis. Interview

Pope Francis (photo: Vatican Media/Handout Via Reuters), Pope Francis called the "innocent victim of war" the daughter of the ideologist of "Russian world" Alexander Dugin Daria, who called for even more rigid form of Russia's war against Ukraine and actively spread Russian propaganda.

After that, the Ambassador to the Vatican Andriy Yurash stated that the words of the pontiff were "disappointed and forced a lot to think about", and stressed that comparing Dugin with the victims of the Russian Crime is incorrect. The video of the day and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs caused the Apostolic Nuncio in Ukraine Vistwaldas Kulbokas, who was reminded that the Pontiff had never been paying attention to the victims of the war -solved war, including 376 Ukrainian children.

The agency expressed the hope that the Holy See "will avoid unjust statements that cause disappointment in Ukrainian society. " In an interview with Radio HB, Yurash told whether the Russian agents could impose a scandalous thesis of Dugina. - For the first time, we see the statements of the Pope, who indignant Ukrainian society. Do we understand how the information gets to it. It is difficult to imagine that he himself reads news and decides who is an "innocent child".

Who provides Francis information? - It seems to me that the answer is already in your question. He has an environment. And I am not really convinced that all the information of the Pope draws from public sources. That is, there is a certain circle of persons who, apparently, before each speech, communicates with the pope, provides some information, and, accordingly, largely shapes the outlook, the vision, and the messaging, which we then hear from the Holy Father.

By the way, even at this moment [regarding Dugina], we can feel and see that probably this information was not reported, it was distorted. In fact, the Pope perceives this death of Dugina, as the death of a little girl, not yet conscious, who absolutely accidentally got into the context of the war he speaks of, and, of course, as a religious person, he cannot agree with her.

This part of disagreement with violence is clear, but it is absolutely unclear why the Pope speaks of Dougin as a child, because in fact it is said after his passage, where he spoke of innocent children as victims of war. This indicates that the situation was unclear to him until the end, the information was distorted. And, accordingly, he reacted as he could in those circumstances. The question is that the main source of [information] remains personal, interpersonal contact for the Pope.
