Zemfira publicly supports Ukraine in the war against Russia. At the beginning of 2022, the singer left the territory of Russia and lived in France all this time. Singer Zemfira, who left after a full -scale war in Ukraine from Russia, and now lives in France, was spotted in Moscow. Photos on which the singer sits in the car actively spreading Russian media. In particular, in the publications under the photo Russian media claim that the singer came to Moscow for treatment.

It was allegedly seen near the city polyclinic, then in line to the dentist. However, the administration of the clinic, where the singer allegedly was, refused to confirm the fact of the visit of Zemfira. The Russian media claim that Zemfira came for teeth treatment in Russia, because in France, where she resides, the cost of such services begins at € 600. However, later one and Russian publications stated that the news of the return of Zemfire to Russia is a fake.

Its authors said that the picture in question was taken in 2018 in the center of Moscow by the Express Gazeta correspondent. However, there is no reliable information whether the singer really returned to Russia. There is also no information on the official pages of Zemfira that would confirm whether the star's return. After February 24, 2022, the Russian singer Zefir left the territory of Russia and opposed Russian aggression.

During his concerts Zemfir publicly opposes the war and supports Ukraine attacked by Russia. For her position on the war and politics of Vladimir Putin in Russia, she was included in the list of prohibited artists.

It is worth noting that in February 2023, Zemfir, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Justice included in the register of inagents, as the singer was openly supported in support of Ukraine, gave concerts in unfriendly countries calling against her and received support from foreign sources.
