The detainee hid packaged in packages under the panel in the car. The SBU noted that nearly four million would be paid for the pseudoephedrine seized from him. Law enforcement officers exposed a transnational channel of smuggling pseudoephedrin from the European Union in Transcarpathia. On August 23, the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region shared the details of the cases.

The exposed drug courier was provided by the wholesale transportation of medicines that contained pseudoephedrins. This substance is used to synthesize psychotrop, including methamphetamine. According to the SBU, the person involved is a native of Russia and a resident of Mukachevo district. The publication states that pills ordered local criminal authorities. According to the investigation, the attacker sent the "goods" to large parties from abroad.

He hid medications in the technological cavities of the machine. The courier was seized at the Tisza customs post in Transcarpathia when he tried to transport pseudoephedrin across the border again. In his car law enforcement officers found almost 20 kilograms of pills. They were packaged in ZIP packets and hidden under the panel of devices. "The cost of the withdrawn batch is almost four million hryvnias at the prices of the black market," the press service emphasized.

The SBU staff had opened a case of drug smuggling and reported suspicion of a detainee. He was arrested with the right to make a bail. "Investigative actions are ongoing. All accomplices of smuggling of precursors," added in the department. We will remind, the SBU exposed the entrepreneur who put the Armed Forces defective bulletproof vests. The organizers of the scheme disrupted the defense order for almost six million hryvnias. The director of the firm was informed about the suspicion.
