Men make up the vast majority of debtors by alimony - 91% of all proceedings. At the beginning of August 2024, almost 190,000 debtors were registered in the Unified Register, which is 14% more than the start of a full -scale war. 91% of them are men. This year, the number of alimony debts increased by 2. 8 thousand. It is reported by OPENDABOT. As of early August 2024, 187 246 alimony debts were registered in Ukraine.

Since the start of a full -scale war, the registry has increased by 23,376 proceedings. Since the beginning of this year, almost 3,000 new proceedings have been opened against alimony debtors. The vast majority of alimony debtors are men: 91% of proceedings. Women account for 9% of all alimony arrears. The most owed Ukrainians from 25 to 45 years - 71. 7%. Since 2021, the Dnipropetrovsk region ranks first in terms of alimony debts.

Despite the fact that the year by year of new proceedings in the region is decreasing, it is the most debts that are open: 20 303 or 11% of the total. At the same time, only 313 proceedings were opened in Dnipropetrovsk since the beginning of the year due to non -payment of alimony. It is followed by Kharkiv region - 11 139 or 6% of the total. It is worth noting that compared to 2021, the non -payment of alimony in the region has almost doubled - by 44%.

The number of alimony debts has dramatically decreased compared to 2021 in the frontline areas: 79% in Donetsk region, 92% in Kherson and 95% in Luhansk region. At the third stage by the number of debts according to alimony, Zaporizhzhya region - 9 343 proceedings (5%). Compared to 2021, unpaid alimony decreased by 34%.
