The Russian Federation is about to send young people from the occupied territories to the front - the mayor of Melitopol

According to Ivan Fedorov, despite the Kremlin's statements that young people from "new regions" will not call for service in the army, no exceptions were prescribed for mobilization in the decree of Vladimir Putin. The Russians intend to call the front of young people of conscript age from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. On Tuesday, April 4, the mayor of the occupied city of Melitopol of Zaporizhzhya region Ivan Fedorov in his Telegram-channel reported.

"The invaders are ready to turn boys from temporarily occupied territories into cannon meat - from April they can start a call for urgent service," Fedorov wrote. According to the mayor, at first in the Kremlin stated that young people from the occupied territories would not call for service in the army. However, there is no exception for recruits from the temporarily occupied territories in the Law on Spring Spring, signed by President Vladimir Putin last week.

"At any time, our youth can call the army and send to die for the enemy," Fedorov summarized. On March 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on spring conscription. The conscript for conscripts began with April 1, 2023 and will last until July 15 this year. During this period, 147 thousand people are planning to be called. It should be noted that the previous call began on November 1, 2022 and lasted until December 31, 2022.

At that time, the Russian president has set a task to bring 120,000 people in the service. We will remind, on March 31 in the Ministry of Defense of Russia stated that they are not going to carry out a new wave of mobilization, because they allegedly quite enough volunteers. Also we will remind, 31 analysts of the Institute of War Study (ISW) in their report noted that the spring call to the Russian Federation can harm Putin's plans in Ukraine.
