Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainians! Only today rescue work in Poltava after the impact ...

Air defense and sufficient missile is a prerequisite for the approximation of peace - the President's appeal

Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainians! Only today rescue work in Poltava after the impact of the Russian rocket has been completed. In total, this rocket killed, unfortunately, fourteen people, two of them were children. Nine and twelve years. My condolences to my family and loved ones. Twenty people were injured, including four children: from a very baby - three months a child - up to twelve years. Another 22 people were saved. Fully destroyed entrance to the house - from the first to fifth floors.

And this is only one Russian rocket that has brought so much pain, so much suffering and loss. That is why for Ukraine and real peace requires guarantees - guarantees that such evil will be stopped. Reliably. Not just in some words or several papers, but that it will be able to guarantee the absence of Russian terror. Air defense and a sufficient amount of missile is a prerequisite for approaching peace. I am grateful to all partners who help us with this and who have a full vision what we need.

"Petriots", "Iris-T", all types of required air defense, development of drones and investments in the production of weapons here in Ukraine are the protection of the lives of our people, it is the protection of the idea itself that peace is possible. During this week, we have new Sweden support packages - a significant package, a billion two hundred million dollars. Thank you, Swive! New security package from Finland. Also a package from Croatia.

Thank you! We work to ensure that next week there are such decisions for Ukraine - a decision to support our country, our people, our army. And today I want to celebrate rescuers who have shown themselves these days and weeks. Poltava region first. Employees of the SES of Ukraine in the region: Alexander Slyusar, Sergey Chebyshev, Yuri Kupryakov, Alexander Bondar, Sergey Morgun.

Thank you guys! Also rescuers from Cherkasy region, who now assisted in Poltava: Vladimir Babak, Sergey Sergienko, Alexander Kolomiets, Andriy Kutsevol.
