Every year my country is changing, it has long been much easier to breathe than in the same Russia. Ukrainians are used to defending their rights and expressing their desires freely. I believe that European integration is not possible without all its freedoms. It is impossible to be half and this is a fact. In particular, this also applies to the LGBT community. Many in our country still juggle this topic, not understanding that there is nothing to discuss here.

You can like or not what different people are, and they love differently. But love does not need to be evaluated, and even more so banned or permitted. It is just like air, and I believe that love wins, even those politicians who build their rhetoric at fears, phobias and ignorance, hiding behind religion or traditions. There is no place in a free progressive society. All this is a shadow of Russian manipulations. And I believe that my country will find its way out, ”the director says.

Badoev also spoke about the representatives of the LGBT community at the front, which protect their home country from Russian invaders. “Yes, many military girls and boys from the LGBT community are already known, both at the front and among volunteers. I know for sure that they are at times more, just many people hide it. These young people are not just protecting their country, they protect the right to be who they are inside free Ukraine, ”he said.

The Ukrainian clip -maker commented on working with Russian artists, and stressed that this head of his life has been completed forever. “Yes, for two decades, my works have been occupied by the top locations of the CIS and Russia. Sometimes the top ten clips consisted entirely of my work. It was, and it was part of my life. But the war did not leave me.
