In Russia, a grenade shock complex began: why it is dangerous for Ukrainians

"Pomegranate" is equipped with shells from RPG-7 and can impress military equipment. Engineers have come up with how to increase the range and resistance of control compared to conventional FPV-Drons. The new unmanned reconnaissance and auditorial complex, called "grenades" was developed in Russia, began to be tested at landfills. About it reports TASS, referring to the design bureau "Astron". The complex is similar to a "checkpoint", but works on an optical range.

It is designed to search for different purposes and to carry out additional intelligence and EHF; Tyyz using unmanned aerial vehicles. An important feature of the new complex is that the signal relay is installed on a separate unmanned aircraft. The news agency, with reference to information from the design bureau, noted that relaying flight signals are intended to ensure a stable acceptance-transmission of commands from intelligence drone to the control panel.

This will significantly increase the capabilities of the grenade complex in conditions of complex relief and urban development, as well as significantly increase the overall radius of the complex. In addition, such layout increases the safety of the operator. This shock drone is equipped with anti-tank shells of PG-7Vl from the RPG-7 grenade launcher for targets. According to Russian media according to the developers, this drone has already been successfully used by Russian military in Ukraine.

This drone belongs to the FPV-ouzh category and can weigh up to 1. 6 kilograms of reference. It is also equipped with a thermal imaging chamber, which can detect people and equipment from a distance of 200 and 500 meters, respectively. The drone management is carried out by protected communication channels, and it is also resistant to radio electronic fight. In early December, we wrote that Russia had got rid of valuable drones of "grenade-4" because of sanctions.

The development of "Granat-4" is actively engaged in LLC "NGO Izhevsky unmanned systems", which is a subsidiary structure of the Kalashnikov concern. The company even announced a recruitment of staff for further work on the project. However, the actions of anti -Russian sanctions cut off all the supply of the necessary components from the countries of the European Union.
