Finland allegedly conducted a confrontation course for preparation for war with the Russians in the guise of defense measures, the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev declared in a column published for the Russian propaganda information agency TASS on September 8. According to him, military activity intensified after the Finns joined the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO).
Medvedev claims that the Alliance "is fully involved in these cases and is now intensively mastering all five operating environments of Suomi (Finland - Ed. ): Susha, Sea, Air, Space and Cyberspace. " According to Medvedev, in the Finnish territory in the immediate vicinity of the border with Russia, the headquarters structures of NATO Land Forces, in particular in Lapland, are formed.
Also, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the aggressor country stated that the headquarters of the Command of the Land Component Corpus Level of NATO's armed forces is unfolding in the city of Mickel. "New garrisons appear, for example in the settlement of Ivala, located 40 km from the Russian territory," Medvedev added.
