Due to the small dimensions and high accuracy, the bomber does not enter the enemy's air defense area. Due to its low weight and compact bomb size, it allows to carry up to four SDB aircraft instead of one standard 500-fuel bomb JDAM. This significantly increases the density of the target for one aviation stroke.

The main characteristics of the GBU-39 aviation bomb, in addition to the GBU-39 aviation bombs, Ukrainian air forces successfully use French high-precision ammunition AASM Hammer, integrated with MiG-29 fighters. Thus, on June 8, Ukrainian tactical aviation struck a point blow on the accumulation of Russian infantry and ammunition composition in the southern direction.
