The universal interspecific planning ammunition (UMPB) with a diameter of 30 cm and a total weight of 250 kg, which is often confused with the mass of the battle part, is the project of a truly universal planning module and flight correction (UMPC), to which any affectionate element could be attached.

The difference between the UMPB project and the current Russian UMPC, used on the bombs of the Fab family and other free lesions, was that it was really conceived as a universal, not adapted to each means of damage separately. The development of this module was engaged in Russia at the turn of 2010s, but never brought the project to the way. Now, apparently, in the wave of successful use of the UMPC, it was decided to return to the life of the UMPB.

Thus, the D-30CN UMPB is a Russian copy of the American "smart" bomb GBU-39/b SDB, which was taken by Russian "Kulibin" as the basis of its project in the 2010s. The bomb symbiosis and GBU-39/B SDB jet engine are well known to us by Glsdb. In essence, it is a GBU-39 aviation bomb, crossed with an overclocking unit from the M26 jet projectile. It can start both M142 Himars and M270. The GLSDB flight range is 170 km.

But as the Russian project is in anabiosis (and in the developing US projects), the UMPB was supplemented by the Powered JDAM concept. Powered Jdam is a projection with a free bomb on the module of planetization, and also a reactive power plant in the form of a TRD, which gave a means of defeat of the quality of the reactive rocket.

At the UMPB D-30CN, a turbouoable engine is a suspension engine, and its presence allows the means to increase both flight range and increase the efficiency of breakthroughs of air defense in the near and middle zone. Otherwise, the D-30CN UMPB set is quite standard for modern lesions.

It is, in addition to the battle part, a competing receiver of the Comet satellite signals, which in 2023 began to be widely used in the drones-Kamikadze Shahd-131/136 in combination with blocks of flight control B-101 and satellite navigation B-105. According to the possibilities of the UMPB D-30CN, it can be used by both aviation media and RSSUs, in particular-"Smerch" and "Tornado-C". The exact range of use is unknown, but it is possible that it can be from 50 to 70 km.

At least those cases of arrivals of this ammunition, which were recorded, were 30 km from the line of combat collision. Given the safety buffer for the starting, this range can be real. What is noteworthy, some of these ammunition, which have been used since the beginning of March, did not massively, but still have not broken after being hit. This indicates poor quality of production and perhaps even the lack of technical control of research products. That is, she is handed over, Abrally.

Given all of the above about the UMPB D-30sN, it can be said that this tool is now tested in real combat conditions. It is not necessary to speak about mass production, and a high indicator of ammunition defects is confirmed by the accelerated, not established process of their production. However, given the characteristics and electronic components used, this lesion can be in the future quite effective reactive high -precision ammunition at medium distances.
