Ukraine and Lithuania have agreed to deepen cooperation for the return of children abducted by Russia

The deputy head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine Irina Wise and First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Kislytsia held a meeting with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania Gabia Grygaya Dowgard and the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Lithuania to Ukraine Inha Inha Stanima. Irina Wise and Sergey Kyslytsa thanked for the adamant support of Ukraine and efforts aimed at punishing war criminals and restoring justice.

During the meeting, they discussed effective mechanisms for the return of Ukrainian children whom Russia illegally deported and moved forcibly. This is one of the key issues that the President of Ukraine has instructed to strengthen the office of the office and the diplomatic corps. The parties agreed to deepen cooperation and attract other countries.

In particular, it is about foreign monitoring of temporarily occupied territories on the impact of propaganda on children, pro -Russian patriotic re -education, filtration camps, as well as the return of children to Ukraine -controlled territory.

Particular attention is the finalization of the creation of a special tribunal and the compensation commission, which will be considered by the applications of victims of Russian aggression, as well as the creation of a compensation fund, which should become a source of compensation payments to the victims. There is an agreement to work together to find the opportunity to direct frozen Russian assets in favor of Ukraine and find other sources for filling the fund.
