The media reported that the convicts who were recruited in the Armed Forces fled from the exercises: what the command says

Sources of journalists assured that six convicted people seized weapons and allegedly fled from a training center located 40 km from Kiev. The command said such statements discredit the mobilization system and help the Russians. Ukrainian citizens who were in the colony but agreed to mobilize the Armed Forces were not fleeing from the Desna Training Center in the Chernihiv region. The recruit group continues training and will soon go to the defense of Ukraine.

The Command of the Land Forces denied the statement of the media, which referred to the escape of recruits. The command of the command appeared on Facebook page. Land troops responded to the message of the publication "Telegraph", which appeared on the network at 13:30. Journalists assured that they received information from their own anonymous sources. The sources claimed that six convicted people who were recruited to the Armed Forces seemed to escape from the training center.

The Ukrainians who were in the colonies but decided to go into the army are "patriotic", and soon everyone will be convinced.

Instead, the media that published unverified information compromise mobilization measures and "work for the enemy". Earlier, Focus spoke about the law signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, which referred to the possibility of conscription of convicted Ukrainians. The text of the law states that there will be no citizens who committed two or more murder, or committed sexual abuse, or guilty of a deadly accident in a state of alcohol or drug intoxication.

According to the Ministry of Justice, there may be about 4 thousand people, while the People's Deputy of the "servants of the people" David Arahamia suggests that this kind of volunteers can be about 20,000. A week after the decision of the people's deputies and the President, representatives of the brigades appeared in colonies, where they tried to motivate convicts for service in the Armed Forces.

For example, the staff from the colony was published by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the 1st Separate Store Battalion "Wolves Da Vinci". The photo shows how the fighter and several of his brothers stand in the middle of the room, and around - about 50 local "residents" who listen carefully.
