Hearing at the German youth conference from one speaker that the war in Ukraine ...

Are sure that this is Putin's war? You are wrong. It is the war of the Russian Federation and its citizens against Ukraine

Hearing at the German youth conference from one speaker that the war in Ukraine is the Putin's war, and most Russians are against it, that's what the war in Ukraine wants is not the war of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, as some state. It is a war of Russia, that is, Russian society, against Ukraine, freedom, democracy. To divide the Putin regime and Russian society will not work.

It is a short -sighted tactic when some in Europe are simply afraid to accept: as before, it cannot be; With the change or death of the shortage, to close his eyes and imagine that the Russian people were nothing to provoke his revenge. It is impossible to say that some data of sociological surveys in Russia, for example, about Putin's support are adequate, but not about supporting war in Ukraine.

72% of Russians, according to the Russian Analytical Center Yuri Levada, supported the war of Russia against Ukraine in September 2022. If this "little" as proof, let's look at other facts: - What were the few rallies in the Russian Federation after Putin's announcement on September 21, 2022 on the "partial" mobilization of the Russians for the war against Ukraine? They were not anti -war, but against mobilization.

That is, until it is necessary to fight ordinary people, they put up with this aggression and support it. Can they be considered "not involved"? Exactly not. - Did we see the protests of the Russians in free countries where they flee from mobilization? No. - Was there any boom in social networks from those who were afraid of persecution in Russia, but in Georgia, or may it be anywhere else? No.

- What do even those who were "war" do? Ammunition is being harvested now for "poor young people" who have been "mobilized" illegally. Even imagine that the Russians are not "for" war, but simply passive and want to "go", it is also their choice. And they definitely cannot count on any privileges from the civilized world. In short, it is uncomfortable for old Europe to admit that the problem is not in Putin personally, but in Russian society, which has certain requests.

Defendation and dictatorship are always parasitic for freedom and democracy. Propaganda crawls into newspapers and television under the guise of freedom of speech (in Germany, by the way, it turned out that Russian resources were not blocked, and Russian TV channels are broadcast, though the latter did not check). Blackmail and the power of freedom against compromises. Fake referendums are issued for their will. And so on. Freedom must be able to defend itself.
