The invaders try to storm the front positions of defense forces in different directions, sometimes using more of the battalion of personnel and more than 30 pieces of equipment. The situation in the area of ​​Avdiivka in Donetsk is aggravated and remains tense. The enemy goes on the offensive, however, the defense forces manage to keep their positions. On October 11, a fighter of the 59th separate infantry brigade with the call sign Ventum told this on the air of the telephone on October 11.

"The situation is intense but controlled. The enemy started active action from the morning and tried to storm our front positions in different directions. In the direction where our brigade occupies, the enemy units used more battalion, more than 30 units of equipment," the Ukrainian defender says . He emphasized that the defense forces was successfully built in the Avdiivka area, as well as a smart command and well -trained fighters. All this in the complex forced the invaders to retreat.

"Yesterday more than 12 units of enemy equipment were destroyed. That is, they failed. We keep all our positions," Ventum said. According to the defender, only in their area of ​​responsibility for yesterday, October 10, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation lost 12 pieces of equipment. Among them are 2 tanks, 8 BMPs and one MTLB. Ukrainian defenders eliminated two dozen Russians and more than 40 were injured.

"As of yesterday and today, the most important task for us was to keep the positions we occupied. Of course, we are doing active work and in the future we will create some conditions to move forward," Ventum said. Recall that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Avdiivsky direction intensified offensive actions up to 3 battalions with the support of tanks and armored vehicles.
