How many US weapons can block for Ukraine: Defense Express calculations

To spread: according to journalists, a lot of deliveries for the most important USAI program for Ukraine also concerns ammunition. Of these, about $ 10 billion - artillery, missile and anti -aircraft ammunition. From August 2024 to December 30, about 4 billion was allocated and supplies were accurately designed for 2025-2026. About it writes Defense Express. It's not even about new weapons because they were not planned for 2025.

Now, what was planned by the administration of the past head of the White House Joe Biden. Within the USAI program, which provides for the order of weapons from manufacturers, the assistance of Ukraine remained $ 2. 2 billion, and 3. 3 billion budget funds for 2024 under the PDA program, when weapons were transferred from the Pentagon reserves.

Baiden's administration was unable to allocate all funds within the so -called PDA presidential "Drodans", which provides for accelerated supply of weapons abroad from US warehouses. On January 9, the latest US $ 500 million aid was announced, and $ 1. 05 billion was not spent, the publication said. At the same time, another $ 2. 8 billion remained, returned after the accounting error in the summer of 2023.

At the same time, all the money for USAI was spent by the end of 2024, when the last package under this program was removed on December 30. In the last two months, Ukraine has been weaponed from the Pentagon reserves under the PDA program about $ 2. 3 billion. The packages themselves had a variety of combat supplies: artillery and missile systems, air defense, anti -tank weapons. And it is possible that not all the help allocated on paper has already been transmitted.

But more threatening is the stopping of USAI weapons supply, which contains all USAI packages, which is about $ 30 billion from $ 65. 9 billion in total assistance since 2022. At the same time, their implementation is calculated by 2026 and possibly by 2027. Which part of USAI contracts has already been executed is still unknown. Despite the fact that these deliveries only relate to weapons, many of them also apply to ammunition, of which $ 10 billion - artillery, missile, anti -aircraft and others.
